Sahan did a great job at Skimlinks, he was instrumental in a number of key strategic pieces of work. Particualr highlights were his work on using deep learning models, the real time streaming of events and our brand classifier. He has a good mix of engineering and data science skills and also demonstrated real ability in mentoring and overseeing our internship program.

Sahan was my MSc dissertation supervisor during the summer of 2017. It was a real pleasure working with him. I have learned a great deal from Sahan, it was my first time using Spark and his expertise and ability to transfer knowledge had a big impact and enabled me to quickly pick it up. I really appreciate his style of managing, he was always ready to provide good, honest and fair feedback. The project that he set out for me was ambitious but realistic and ended up being very successful. We have collaborated daily and apart from being a top class technical guy, he's also a person anyone would want in their team.
