Lion Eng. W.M.D. Walisundara is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over four decades of experience in the construction and engineering industry, both in Sri Lanka and internationally, including extensive experience working with leading Japanese contractors. Throughout his professional career, he has been involved in major infrastructure and construction projects and has developed strong expertise in project management, construction management, engineering leadership, contract administration, and team management.

Building upon his engineering career, he has expanded into entrepreneurship and currently provides leadership to a diversified portfolio of businesses under Walisundara Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. He heads Dynamic Constructions International (Pvt) Ltd, which operates in construction, infrastructure development, engineering consultancy, architectural and structural solutions, and renewable-energy projects, including solar system design and installation.

He also leads Dynamic Solutions International (Pvt) Ltd, focusing on innovative and sustainable business solutions, EV charging infrastructure, technology, international collaboration, and skills-development initiatives.

Embracing Sri Lanka's growing digital economy, Eng. Walisundara also holds leadership roles in the innovative digital platforms DropMe, Getit365, and OneMart. These initiatives are focused respectively on mobility and transportation, access to everyday services, and digitally connecting customers, businesses, stores, and delivery services, contributing towards the development of an integrated local digital ecosystem.

His business philosophy combines engineering excellence, innovation, technology, sustainability, skills development, and social responsibility, with an emphasis on creating practical solutions and sustainable opportunities for future generations.

Beyond his professional and entrepreneurial activities, Eng. Walisundara is an active Toastmaster and senior member of Lions Clubs International, where he has contributed extensively to leadership and community-service initiatives. His involvement in social service reflects a continuing commitment to supporting communities and creating opportunities for those in need.
